Gelormini's Auto Repair was opened on June 1, 1994. In the last 16 years the shop has expanded and transformed into an appealing place to do business.
16 years ago, Mike Gelormini started the shop as the owner, technician, manager and basically handled everything in the day to day operations. Today, Gelormini's has a staff of 5 and are able to handle all of your auto repair needs.
At Gelormini's Automotive, the focus is on our customers' concerns, customer education and promoting safety and maintenance. Customers enjoy a friendly, relaxed and helpful environment from the minute they enter the reception area.
As a customer you will receive a complimentary multi-point Vehicle Maintenance Service Inspection and are presented with a printout of the factory service recommendations tailor-made especially for you and your specific vehicle. With this information you can then plan and make educated service decisions to keep your vehicle running efficiently, safely and for as long as possible.
Gelormini's may not be a large repair shop, but our convenient location and friendly atmosphere result in an environment you'll want to come back to. Our smaller size puts us in a position to provide the best level of customer service and attention to detail. We have a wealth of repeat customers receiving the kind of personal service and convenience that are only possible in a neighborhood setting like ours.

Meet Our Staff
Owner, 28 years of experience
As a life long resident of New Providence and having worked at most of the local area auto repair shops growing up, Mike's known most of his customer base for years. Mike has always based his shop philosophy on treating the customer with fairness and honesty, providing them with a safe and reliable vehicle at a reasonable cost. He has always enjoyed talking with customers – educating and explaining repair options; working with the customer to decide what's best for their particular situation. With 28 years of experience in the industry, there's a bundle of knowledge willing to share to help educate the consumer on what their vehicle needs to be safe and reliable.
The impression that the shop itself makes when you pull into the parking lot is important to Mike and is clearly evident to the customer at the first view.
When not at the shop, Mike can be found at home with his wife Kathy and his two beautiful children. Packing up and taking off in the family motor home is one of his favorite pastimes. ASE Certified Technician / Mechanic
Paul started working on cars with his dad when he was 10 years old. He came to Gelormini's 2 years ago after having worked as a dealership technician for 18 years. Paul is Toyota and ASE Certified.
In his spare time Paul enjoys spending time with his family, working out at the gym, and going to sporting events with his son.
He takes pride in doing thorough vehicle inspections and doing repairs "correctly the first time."
